Rarely seen with the beveled edges, this 50.4 Troy oz pure 999 silver “dog bone” industrial bar was made by Engelhard Industries to be hung while plating items in silver for industrial use. Most of these were melted down used by industry so to see a full sized example that survived processing is quite rare. The bar appears to have been used in industry many years ago not only adding incredible character over the years but also is proof of its authenticity.
